Team
The Center for Ukrainian Studies brings together employees of Ivan Franko National University of L’viv and other people interested in Ukrainian studies.
The Center’s goal is to unite the efforts of scholars in the humanitarian sphere and first of all in the area of Ukrainian Studies, to research, gather and spread information about Ukraine.
The Centre for Ukrainian Studies:
- Organizes international summer schools for Ukrainian studies for Ukrainians and foreigners to help them learn more about the language, history and culture of the country;
- Holds conferences, round table discussions and seminars on teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language;
- Develops scientific, educational and cultural programs as well as education and methodology text-books;
- Organizes seminars with the aim of raising the qualification of specialists in the sphere of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language;
- Offers an individual approach to studying Ukrainian through Skype lessons.
